That Was Then, This Is Now

So I went to climb up the Mount Fuji on Sept 5th.
On the first day, I went up to 7th station which is about 3010m. There I stayed at the hut and rest till 1 o'clock. From 2 o'clock in the morning, I started again climbing and just after 5 o'clock, I saw a sunrise. It was some how quite and peaceful. The highest birthday I have ever had in my life.

I still have a slight pain in my both knees since I came back from Yakushima. The reason is so simple.
I used them too hard in such a short time of period.
Just in case, I took an X-ray and found they were no seriously damaged. It seems there is just a inflammation in meniscus.
However, I was told from my doc, that I should start walking constantly so I walked about 3km today around my house.

I hope Mizuki Noguchi will recover soon and compete at women's marathon game.

I spent my week vacation in Yakushima. It was my second visit and the main purpose was to climb up Miyanouradake which is the highest mountain in Kyushu.

More than 20% of land in Yakushima is world heritage and it is famous for cedar trees.　It is also said that one of the canyon was a model of the movie "Mononokehime". Moss is beautiful especially when it is raining.

I also went on hiking to see "Jomon Sugi" the most ancient cedar tree. 　There are many opinions regarding to this place, from positive to negative, too many people, too bored to be walked, lots of rubbish, etc. There will be 100 different opinions,if there are 100 people.  Not all people feel as same as what you feel. That is the way it is.

But why not see or feel  by yourself first? Experiencing is a priceless.　You can't buy this big impression with your Master card.
